Where are you located?

Not Wasted is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. 

Where can I pick up a local order?

Orders can be picked up at the front desk of the TradeSpace building, located at 5775 11 St. SE, Calgary, T2H 1M7. Pick up orders are often fulfilled same/next day, and pick up options are available on business days between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Why wait for a refreshing non-alcoholic drink? 

SHIPPING/DELIVERY

Where do you ship?

We ship orders of non-alcoholic beverages from coast to coast across Canada - you name the province, city, town, or hamlet! Keep an eye out for more shipping options - see you soon, USA!

How long does it take to receive my products once ordered/shipped?

We strive to provide a quick turnaround for you to receive your products after placing an order! Shipments to the prairies and British Columbia typically arrive within 1-7 business days. Orders to Ontario and eastern provinces may take up to 10 business days. Local orders within Calgary and surrounding areas are often delivered within 2 business days; we also offer same/next day pick up options so you can enjoy your favourite non-alcoholic drinks even sooner! If shipping is delayed due to weather or other unexpected circumstances, we'll always reach and communicate the reason for the delay. 

What are the shipping costs?

No one likes shipping costs, and we're always trying to get the best price for our customers! Average shipping fees range from $15-$25 depending on order size (weight and dimension of packages) and location, and may increase for large/bulk orders.   

Delivery within Calgary is set at a $10 flat rate, and costs $15-25 for most cities and provinces outside of Alberta (including British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.

When are local orders delivered?

Not Wasted has partnered with a local Calgary delivery service company to fulfill local shipments. We aim to deliver local orders placed before 11:00 am on the same day between 1:00-5:00 pm. Orders made after 11am will be fulfilled the next day between 9:00 am-5:00 pm.

How are orders packaged?

We often pack local deliveries using oxo-biodegradable bags. Oxo-biodegradable bags are environmentally friendly and made from 100% degradable plastics that will biodegrade over time once discarded. We use shipping boxes for some orders depending on the size of the products.

All orders are packed securely for shipping. During the winter, orders are packaged using insulated bubble wrap to help protect our products from the cold.

For my order, do you suggest that I order a minimum amount of items?

We like this question, and we want to be transparent with you. Shipping is not necessarily inexpensive as alluded to above. For the best bang for your buck, we suggest medium to large size orders (for example - two 4 or 6 packs of the same or different brands, or our variety/mixed package bundles). By placing orders with multiple products, you'll save money on shipping costs, and you'll have delicious non-alcoholic drinks on-hand for longer!

For non-alcoholic craft beer cans, if you’re interested in trying various options, use our custom order services and we can bundle several individual products. Alternately, you can view our mixed-themed packages that offer a great bundled rate and allow you to sample products from various brands.

Our products are sourced from suppliers worldwide, and we're continuously adding new non-alcoholic options.

What is the alcohol content of your drinks?

All our beverages are considered "alcohol free" - anywhere from 0.0% ABV (alcohol by volume) to 0.5% ABV. 

Fun fact: Did you know ripe bananas can contain up to 0.5% ABV?

What are the benefits of drinking non-alcoholic beverages?

Well, the best benefit is simply…no hangovers! There are a multitude of reasons to why this is positive, including better sleep, less stress and anxiety, no headaches, and no lack of energy. Reaching for non-alcoholic options improves your cardiovascular health and reduces your risk for many health concerns including cancer and heart disease.  Additionally, most non-alcoholic drinks are low calorie and low in carbohydrates!

Other benefits include increased energy and productivity, and the happiness that comes with knowing you're making good choices to support your health. Choose non-alcoholic options and ensure your mornings, days, and nights are not wasted!

You will be surprised with the taste profile advancements and the options available within this beverage category as of late. It is incredible to learn how many people have eliminated or heavily reduced their alcohol consumption based on the great tasting products available on the market today.

Who is "Not Wasted" for and who are non-alcoholic beverages for?

Movers and shakers, entrepreneurs, business owners, career-focused individuals, hikers, campers, walkers, dog walkers, rock climbers, runners, trail runners, kayakers, skiers, snowboarders, skateboarders, road cyclists, mountain bikers, snowshoers, boxers, fitness buffs, scuba divers, fishermen, outdoor enthusiasts, adventure seekers, hockey players, soccer stars, athletes, travellers, carpenters, tradesmen, artists, motorcyclists, boaters, sailors, teachers, photographers, parents, grandparents, doctors, nurses, early-risers, and achievers! Over the last couples years there has been a rise in drinking non-alcoholic beverages for many reasons. An increasing number of people are focusing on their health and well-being, and more companies are popping up dedicated to providing non-alcoholic drinks like craft beer, non-alcoholic spirits, wines, sodas, and more. The best part is that the taste of these drinks are no longer compromised! There are even well recognized, large beer manufacturing companies now introducing non-alcoholic options due to this trend, and distillers devoted to creating tasty non-alcoholic beverages!

I’m pregnant – can I consume your non-alcoholic drinks?

Great question, and it can be a debatable one. Although our non-alcoholic beverages offered are “alcohol free”, the alcohol content of our non-alcoholic beverages ranges from 0.0 % ABV (alcohol by volume) to 0.5% ABV. We suggest contacting your doctor for their professional opinion to err on the side of caution, but we do know of many customers who drink these non-alcoholic products confidently. 

THE PRODUCT

How long does the product last?

Depending on the product, the shelf-life can be anywhere from 8 months to 2 years. We suggest carefully looking at the product to confirm when it expires. On some of the cans/bottles it will identify how long the product is good for once it has been opened. But I think we can all agree, once you order and receive your products, you'll be enjoying it quickly!

I’m not familiar with non-alcoholic (or no to low) beverages, nor what I might enjoy. What do you suggest I order?

We're happy to help introduce you to the many non-alcoholic options available! All the products we curate are high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, ranging from craft beer to spirits to wine and sodas. Everyone’s taste palates are different, but we’ve made sure we’ve selected products that can accommodate each customer's interests. We suggest reading through product profiles to have a better understanding and reading the reviews on the products where available. Some of your products are sold out or coming soon – how can I be notified of these products when in stock?

With some product being popular and some product on it’s way, we will continue to be diligent managing the inventory so it is readily available.

To be notified when inventory is in stock, go to the product of interest and you will see a section that will say “want to be notified once this product is available?” then add in your email address and we’ll send you an email as soon as we have this particular product on the online store. It will be first come first served once we have it in stock. If you want to buy the product in advance, although it is not available, and don’t want to miss out on getting it when it is released, send us an email and we can do a pre-purchase order.

I don't see the beverage/product I want to buy, can you still sell it to me?

We can - depending on the item of course. We have contacts with various partners that may have access to what you are looking for. We're always thirsty for new vendor partnerships and will continue to grow our portfolio of high-quality non-alcoholic beverages to feature on our site.
